The German Interior Ministry said 1225 asylum applications have been registered since the beginning of October, a drop of 11.8% year-on-year.
Among the asylum seekers, 21.9% were children under the age of one who were born after their parents arrived in Germany.
The decline in asylum seekers' arrivals is partly attributed to fewer people fleeing the conflict in Syria and Iraq.
