Next week, the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) are expected to finalise the government programme, following a series of meetings held at the level of working groups.
Albulen Haxhiu, from Vetevendosje, told the Online Economy that for many of the topics laid down among the working teams there is compatibility.
She voiced confidence that there will be no problems in positioning these two parties on major topics for the country.
Until now all our meetings have been held in a positive positive spirit, so we're confident that it will continue this way, we've already been released in discussions on the governing programme, on Monday we've had an economic development meeting, at 90 percent of the issues we've agreed on, there are only a few addresses that need to find understanding and compatibility”.
The following week, she says convinced that the governing programme to pave the way for signing the final agreement, which will take place after the confirmation of the election results.
We will continue next week with foreign policy and social affairs, health in education and I believe that the next week will be final in the sense of program harmonisation, and then only the signing of the final agreement remains, and I believe it will be done at the moment of repositing the outcome of the” elections.
Haxhiu, says Lutfi Haziri's involvement in the processing group is not a big problem for the VV, since his role on the team will not be able to change LVV's position.
The “does not change the VDK position of any single name that will be under the LDK, we do not determine who the people who put the LDK on, we are responsible only for the persons whom the VV calls, it is not in the power of the VV's involvement, it does not change my belief at all in the situation that has been through our” throughout this time.
On the presidential post issue, Haxhiu stressed that this remains the issue of Kurti and Mustaf's meeting.
“Within the working groups we have no mandate to speak of specific names, whether for minister or other positions, the issue remains of the meeting of President Kurti and Mr. Mustrafa. I can't talk about issues that weren't at our meetings, so I can't talk based on public statements, so far there hasn't been any such demands, nor is it our responsibility, and this level of perspective belongs to Mayor Kurti and Mr. Mustafa”, Haxhiu said.
And for the 12 ministries assigned to host the next government, according to Haxhiu, there are still no names for who will lead them.
She says that first some structures of the government are being defined, and then there will be a division of dictatorships.
We have started intensive meetings with LDK in order to discuss future co-governance, the first meeting has been agreed to create two working groups, one within the VV and one of the LDK, and now those working groups are working intensively, we have discussed some programming issues, first defined the structure of the next government that will not be more than 12 we have defined as the number of deputy ministers, and we have been released on the main concrete topics with which are even priorities of citizens but also the priority of the government, when the <18x> said.
One of the processes expected to conclude by the Kurti Government, Haxhiu says it is the issue of vetoing, which until its completion will take two years, reports EO.
“is the government's priority, Kurti, to address the vetting process. The VV and LDK governance will include Kosovo's Assembly in the veto process because we consider it important, we have mentioned a deadline for two years when it should be completed as a process at the high levels of prosecution, courts, police and AKI”.
“ ... We have seen that the current government is trying to misuse any possibility it has to fill institutions with party militants, some of the competitions have been opened in time of the electoral field with the aim of profiting votes under these courses, everything that has been done at this stage will be reviewed by future government”, Haxhiu concluded.
On Thursday, two working groups of the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement have met, where the topic of discussion was rule of law.
