Meteorologists predict more stormy weather, while schools, which are open in Italy, will remain closed in the lagoon area on Saturday.
Despite this, many museums and resorts will be opened to the public, including Palazzo Duchale.
According to the city's municipality, the water level is about 120cm above normal sea level.
At this level, the square “Mark Markus”, where it is located and Palazzo Duchale remains flooded, as it is Venice's lowest point.
However, water levels have dropped significantly compared to the 187cm Tuesday, which meant that almost the entire city, a site of U's world heritage NESTO's flooded.
This was Venice's largest flood in the last 50 years.
