The percentage of positive asylum decisions -- from January to September this year -- was 34%, with a slight increase compared to the first nine months of 2018, which was 33%.
Most of the requests were submitted by Syrians, Afghans and Venezuelans.
It turns out that the least densely populated countries were the ones subjected to greater pressure.
For example, in July, most of the requirements were submitted to Cyprus and Malta, followed by Greece, Sweden and Luxembourg.
In particular, Cyprus has received an average of about 1,500 asylum applications for a million inhabitants, almost double that of Malta (7000), and three times those of Greece (over 450).
