On November 5, 2016, at Prizren's Pre-prisonment Centre, under circumstances still unclear, Vetevendosje Movement activist Astrit Dehari died.
The publication of the findings of legal medical experts from the Romande University University Centre for Legal Medicine in Switzerland's Lausanne (CURML) has granted the Dehari family's request for a new investigation into the circumstances and causes of Astrit Dehar's death.
The report specifically lowers the hypothesis filed for suicide by the prosecutor of the case and calls for new investigation, including investigating the possibility of involvement of other persons in his murder.
Today on the three-year anniversary of his death, starting at 12:00 in “Square. Skenderbeu” starts marching with the motto “A people for justice”.
The requirements for justice gear to Kosovo institutions are: The dismissal and investigation of all responsible persons throughout the institutional chain by the Government, Police, Directorate of Prisons, Prosecutor and Department of Legal Medicine; and the immediate beginning of a new creditary, transparent, independent and professional investigation into the circumstances and causes of Astri Dehar's death, as well as the investigation into the circumstances of the death of the case witness, his roommate at Prizren's Paraburg Centre, Naser Makoli.
March “A people for justice” has found support for civil society, public persons and many political organisations.

Ten o'clock health directors in Prizren, Mitrovica and Vushtrri offer medical services to poor families in honour of the Astrit Dehar anniversary.
Twelve o'clock March “A people for Justice”
At 2: 00 a.m. in Prizren, memorial activity is held by activist Astrit Dehar at the Finance Directorate building. We're going to light candles and put flower wreaths between 2: 00 p.m., until 1500 p.m., at the time that the Astrit murders occurred in Prizren prison.
2:00 p.m. Donating blood at Movement V headquarters. 7 / 15 Casem Hadzimurat, Pristina, sets up a blood transfusion mobile team for all those interested in voluntarily donate blood as a sign of solidification for this memorial day.
