The Serbian president has commented on the European Union's decision not to adopt membership negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia.
Vuciq has said that this EU decision has made the region realise that it cannot rely solely on its Western neighbours, and, as he said, the only responsible approach is to take care of ourselves”.
Such a decision, taken despite reform efforts by Albania and Northern Macedonia, made clear to the region that “does not depend everything on us”, he said in an interview for the Financial Times.
