The candidate for prime minister from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, in the last elections has managed to get many votes from its supporters, writes Periscopi.
Osmani has managed to garner a total of 163 thousand votes in the 6 October elections. Although a large number of voters voted Osman, that number was not enough to win the post of prime minister of the country.
The LDK candidate was defeated by her counterCandidate, Albin Kurti, who had received 185 thousand votes.
On 6 October of this year, early parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo following incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation.
Haradinaj's resignation came as a result of an invitation by the Special Court to testify to war crimes in Kosovo./Periscopi/
