AKR candidate for MP Valdrin Luka has said his political beliefs are liberal, and that he believes in the rights and freedoms of each individual to decide for himself, broadcasts news.

And so I believe that each adult, conscious individual has the right to decide for himself whether to wear a headscarf or any other religious symbol”, he wrote on Facebook, Luka, where he published a picture with mufti Naim Trnava's daughter, Reicece Trnava.

He has therefore clarified that his statement was for children in schools, young ones who, according to him, should neither be covered nor imposed on parental coverage.

The children are the best part of life, so they should be seen as such”, Luka said.

For and about wearing the headscarf in schools:

Being part of public life, it is not rare to misinterpret media statements on purpose or without purpose!

First I want to point out that my political beliefs are liberal, therefore I believe in the rights and freedoms of each individual to decide for himself, so even in this case, I believe that each individual of the older, conscious age has the right to decide for himself whether to wear a headscarf or any other religious symbol.

My statement has been to young children in schools who maintain that they should not be covered or imposed on parental coverage. Children are the best part of life, so they should be viewed as such.

I personally have many devoted practical friends, and I respect that very much. One of them is my friend Refice Trenawa, who we've become to the state!

Yours,
Valdrin
