Thaci accepts credentials from Croatia's new ambassador

Thaci has initially congratulated him on his new task, offering him co-operation to strengthen relations between our two peoples and states.

He has thanked Croatia for the support it has given Kosovo in all areas, especially in that of Euro-Atlantic integrations.

“Croatia is an important partner of Kosovo. Our good relations should also be expanded in economy, education and culture”, the president has said.

On the other hand, Croatian diplomat Danijela Barisic has stressed that her country will continue its support for Kosovo, until it is committed to strengthening relations between the two states.

The head of state has said that the Western Balkan states should follow Croatia's path to NATO and European Union membership.
