Chairman PSDA, Shpend Ahmeti, writes that voters have decided who will be in position and who in opposition.

He says he is not satisfied with the PSD's outcome in this election, but that this party will show support for the government in national interest points.

Here's Ahmet's full post:

Now that the preliminary tally of the 6 October elections ended, the voter order was clear. It's clear and for who should be in position and who in the opposition.

We hope in the quick Certificate of results and formation of institutions because of responsibilities awaiting new institution carriers. Any scratch on the certificate is just a sign of the weak losers. Any reluctance in the coalition by the two parties is contrary to statements made before the elections.

As I said on the first night, we wish the winner of the election, Vetevendosje Movement. No matter the differences, we wish good work to fulfill the vows we have made, especially those we agree on.

To The PSD, this was an unhappy result, but also orders from voters for decisions made. We still believe that they were right decisions in the interest of the state that clearly are not supported at the proper level.

We continue to believe in equality, well-being and solidarity. We will support the new government in points of national interest and agreeing, such as dialogue with Serbia, where there is no change of borders and third level of governance, to insisting on increasing minimum salaries. But we will also challenge and monitor the decisions we disagree with.

We will begin a reconstruction of the relationship with the citizen to continue the struggle for social democracy and prosperity in Kosovo.
