Pristina University “hasan Pristina” has organised “the day of the New Students' orientation”. The purpose of this event is to welcome new students and instruct them in their respective schools.

In this case, University of Pristina Rector Marjan Dema said Pristina University is a leader in Albanian-speaking lands.

Speaking of the importance of starting Dema studies, the University of Pristina welcomes 60,000 new students this year.

This day, unless you clothe us with the garment of happiness, you also clothe us with the garment of responsibility. Today the UPI joins about 6,000 new students, I'm very happy that you all successfully made your journey to the most prestigious and oldest university in our country, said Dema.

Demas also spoke of the symbol of October 1 as the date, since this date also marks the 22nd anniversary of the start of demonstrations on the part of students.

He stressed that it was the students of the University of Pristina who sought democracy and raised the voice of knowledge.

“But 22 years ago, our students raised the voice of the power of knowledge, turning out that voice is crucial to the fate of our country. Today it has been 22 years since professors backed up the responsibility of organising positive change in Kosovo”, Dema stressed.

While as a motivating speaker for young students, Pristina University had chosen prominent actor Fatmir Spahiu, who showed fragments of his first day of studies.

The event ended with an artistic programme organised by current students. We remember this is the second year the University of Pristina has organised “on the day of the New Students' orientation”.
