Five people arrested for counterfeiting documents and school diplomas

Kosovo police have arrested five people for criminal work “for the falsification of” documents. “Five of Kosovo's most suspected persons, acting in a group at a time, with illegal activities extended to several different municipalities and regions of the Republic of Kosovo in exchange for payments on various tariffs, have provided forged official professional training documents, high school diplomas, and others for different persons”, Kosovo reports.
“After months of developing professional investigations and applying specific measures under the RKS criminal procedure code ( The KKPPRKS, from the regional investigation sector in Prizren in co-operation with the State Prosecutor and the Directorate for Support of Investigations by the DPS in Pristina, yesterday on 09.10.2019, suspected persons (4-Albanians/Koskoovare) have been arrested in French, selling high school diplomas”.
As a continuation of the operation during the raids conducted in the Prizren and Pristina region have been seized in quality of material evidence: money, mobile phones, copies of diplomas of different profiles, stamps, various forms, billanco forms of diplomas and others.
The operational plan has been realised in full co-operation and co-ordination by the Regional Investigations Sector, the Regional Directorate in Prizren, the Prosecutor of the Basic-Prizren Prosecutor, the Peace Force for Fast Reaction in Prizren, and the Directorate for Support of Investigations in the DPP Pristina.
Determine prosecutors' decision suspects are sent to a 48-hour duration for further legal procedures.
Police encourage citizens to continue to co-operate with the Kosovo Police in preventing and combating these negative phenomena, including other information connected with organised crime and corruption, so that the perpetrators can be brought to justice.
