The senior US official in the day met with Foreign Minister, while later with Defence Minister and President Pendarovski. In the coming days, intensive Palmer meetings are expected.
We talked about developments in the region and beyond, so across Europe. I will have a marathon visit to the region where I will stay in Pristina, Belgrade and Athens. I am coming to your country following the adoption of protocol by the US Senate for North Macedonia's NATO membership. It is an excellent time to visit especially after Secretary Pompeii's visit. I want to convey my message that the United States remains a strong partner of Northern Macedonia and support its journey towards the EU. This is the region that belongs to Europe and the EU cannot be successful and calm if the region remains retarded”, Palmer said. /AlsatM/
