The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and European Commission Vice President Federica Moghrini has described it as a historic mistake, which could be changed as soon as possible, the EU's decision not to start accession talks with Northern Macedonia and Albania.
Named a very difficult meeting, the meeting of the European Council Moghrin said that, <x0 heads of states and governments have postponed the decision to open negotiations for membership of Albania and Northern Macedonia in the European Union, despite the extraordinary progress achieved by both countries and against European Commission councils.
“This” says Moghrini, “is much more than a lost option: it is a historic error, which I hope can be changed as soon as possible”. /Attish/
