Richard Lee Fulgham gave the answer to that question.
He put it this way:
I know that because I studied hunger.
A healthy person can live between 45 and 65 days without food.
You may live without any large symptoms for some 30 to 35 days, but after that period you certainly begin to have diarrhea, skin problems, and, normally, severe weight loss.
Fulgham then explained that after the day of 35 the body begins the “to eat itself”, ranging from fat to muscle tissue.
