The Vjosa River flows from the slopes of Mount Pindu in Greece and flows to the Adriatic Sea coast. The Albanian government has planned a project for Vjosa to produce as much electricity as possible for one of Europe's poorest countries, aimed at building 8 The HECs along the course.
