To establish Government, officials of the Democratic League of Kosovo are open to all parties, except, The PDK and the Serbian List. These two have red lines to be in coalition with Isa Mustaf's party.
So Haki Rugova told Express during Sunday. He stated that the Serbian List belongs only to the competencies given to the Constitution of Kosovo, but not to the detenive in forming the Government.
There is no need to become a coalition with the Serbian List. They will have the country in government under the Constitution. Otherwise, the coalition with them does not prefer and should not have”, Rugova said.
But he further stated that if Fatmir Limaj's NISMA exceeds the election threshold, then they can talk to him about a possible coalition.
I trust coalitions. They are established on principled grounds and good governing policies. If NISMA even passes the threshold, why not, there is no limit to it. We have restrictions on PDK\x1>, says LDK chief member Haki Rugova.
He has also commented on the statements of Vetevendosje member Albulen Haxhiu, who claimed that with LDK, during the working meetings, the new government has a maximum of 12 ministries. But about these statements Rugova says this number is not defined. According to him, there may be more or less.
“... ministers are still not divided. There's nothing final, they're all different solutions, they're lying on the table and they're spinning up to the right shape. It's a question of whether there will be 12 ministries. The ministries are made according to needs and according to agreements”, Rugova declares.
Nevertheless, he has expressed optimism about a productive coalition with Albin Kurti's Vetevendosje.
I see the talks have started well. The final decisions will be made by the LDK chairmanship and the General Council. We haven't decided anything yet. We don't have a fucking frame. It's normal to talk about government programs to post. But this is a later phase, this will be decided after the Certificate of results”, Rugova says.
The Haradinaj government is considered the largest Kosovo has ever had with 21 ministries and nearly 80 deputy ministers so, becoming the largest facility in the Balkans.
In addition to the large number, the Haradinaj Government will also be remembered for the highest salary increase for its government cabinet.
