Kurti: We will correct demarcation with Montenegro

Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti has declared he will not rush to make agreements with Serbia, but is ready for a principled dialogue. First he said he would ask Serbia for his debt. My “Ofert for Serbia is the debt requirement it has. We're gonna put everything in order. Why should I do [...]

First he said he would ask Serbia for his debt.

My “Ofert for Serbia is the debt requirement it has. We're gonna put everything in order. Why should I bid Serbia? I'll ask for debt”, Kurti said in an interview for Sokol Balla at Real Story.

He added that he is not against dialogue in principle, but against principleless dialogue.

“Dialogue can start, but I wouldn't have rushed for a” deal, Kurti said.

As for demarcation with Montenegro, he said that “na was taken over, but what was promised us (visa liberalisation) was not given by the EU”.

We will make every move to correct the agreement with Montenegro. It was wrong because of our commission, not because of Montenegro”.

As for the north of Kosovo, he said that Mitrovica's <x0nd Division and the Trepca division are not two different things. He needs investments in Trepca. If we invested around 175 million euros in Trepca, we could get out with the export of metals nearly half a billion Euro”.

Kosovo's constitution envisions that a minister in the cabinet should be of Serbian ethnicity, and that is why Albin Kurti stressed that “Po will be a Serbian minister, but not necessarily from the Serbian List”.

I have no problem with the Serbian List, I have no problem why it's Serb, but because it's not a party. It's actually a state, it's an instrument of Belgrade. There have been major irregularities during the vote in Serb majority settlements. Pressure against Serbs to vote on the Serbian List has been terrible”, he stressed.
