In KTV's interactive, Krasniqi has said that the PDK in the 6 October elections enters with a clean list and that as a party is already reformed.
I believe that Kosovo's citizens, despite the reluctance they may have, understand and acknowledge that the PDK during its ruling period, especially when leading the government, has achieved tangible successes and results. He has fulfilled most of his promises. But we've never denied that there were mistakes in this period. If there is a difference with other parties is that we have accepted the deviations that could happen, problems that have been possible as a result of certain people. That's why we in advance in our internal process, we called it the New Decade because it's actually the new decade for PDK. We want to tell the citizens that this decade is over and we've considered the next decade it must find PDK renovated, reformed. We got this. If you see the PDK election list, which I am convinced is best, we have 68 candidates competing for the first time”, he said.
That “where they were so far to fight corruption”, Krasniqi has said the question answers with a counterquestion.
“It denies anyone the right to ask such questions, especially those of us who have continued to rule over the past 12 years. Our time in government is the same as the LDK. So many years has been the LDK in power. However, the question is legitimate. I would argue. Why not now? And if not now, when? We've asked ourselves the question: if we don't, who? There are parties that have neither the courage nor the will to become part of such war. This isn't a war with yourself. We make examples of ourselves. Before anyone had an idea for elections, we had a priority for the anti-corruption fight, and Kadri Wessel, after receiving the first official term as head of the party, decided to dismiss those with charges for certain acts of”, he added.
