The Anti-Drog Unit in Gjakova, in support of the border police unit, has taken action in Kostunica, where they have found 250 plant fibers of the Canabis Sivra type, which on the order of the prosecutor were destroyed at the scene.
The plants have been approximately 1 to 3m long, and yesterday's action on their destruction has lasted from 2: 00 p.m. to 5:00.
Also, samples have been taken for further examination, while there are no suspects at present.
At the order of the State Attorney, police are in search of the discovery of possible perpetrators of this criminal offence.
Also, on October 14, 2019, in Kostunica, near the Kosovo-Albania border zone, by another action of police, close to 5,000 plant threads of the Canabis type have been found, where, at the order of the prosecutor, they have been destroyed at the scene, and police are also on his order to investigate the case.
