Integrated Agreement: I NTERPOL, only another failure for Kosovo foreign policy

Kosovo has failed to become part of the International Police Organisation this year, INTERPOL. This has been first disclosed by the Serbian media report that Kosovo has withdrawn its application for membership in this organisation, and then this has been confirmed by the prime minister in the resignation, Ramush Haradinaj, writes the news.net.
“Prime Minister-in-chief of the Republic of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, taking into account the circumstances created, given his competencies as prime minister in office and from the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has today called for the postponement of Kosovo's vote for membership in INTERPOL for next year”, the communique said.
Integration connoisseur Avni Mazre has called it Kosovo's current foreign policy failure, the withdrawal of application in INTERPOL.
Mazreku has indicated that Serbia has succeeded in preventing Kosovo from international organisations, even though very often it has been cautioned that Kosovo should be more cautious at this point.
“Definitely, we have said in several interviews for you, that Kosovo is not in a favourable position in terms of external relations, Kosovo in foreign policy has scored failure after failure”, Mazrek told news.net.
Furthermore, Mazrek said Kosovo's foreign policy has never realised the importance of membership in international organisations.
Serbia has succeeded in preventing Kosovo from membership in international organisations that is Serbia's national strategy, which unfortunately has succeeded, which, in fact, some people, including your media, have been warning since the weather that Kosovo should focus on this direction, Kosovo should focus on strengthening its position in the international arena. People who were foreign field policy bearers have never understood the importance of this theme”, Mazreku said.
According to Mazrekut, this failure should be a resounding and trumpeting goal for Kosovo to finally understand the way the state is concluded today and how one country's sovereignty is measured.
“This failure must be the contrast, trumpeting, that Kosovo understands the role and importance of state membership in international organisations. Because the state cannot be concluded and called independent without being part of international organisations, state sovereignty today is measured by the membership of a state in international organisation”, Mazreku told the news.net.
Speaking of steps Kosovo should take in relation to improving diplomatic mistakes it has made in the past, Mazreku has said it has two steps.
According to him, Kosovo must first understand the importance and functioning of foreign policy and then draft effective strategies through a national consensus.
Kosovo must first understand, carriers who have a role in foreign policy institutions should understand how the foreign policy of a state works and the role that membership in international organisations have. The second step, in relation to this understanding of the situation, is to build effective strategies on how Kosovo achieves independence and presence in these organisations. Starting with parties that form the government as to whom the minister of foreign affairs is appointed, there should be national consensus and should not be seen as the uniform context of a one-party”, Mazreku said at the end.
Kosovo had failed last year to membership in INTERPOL following Serbia's fierce campaign, which resulted in the introduction of a 100 per cent tax on Serbian products since dialogue between the two countries has ceased.
