The INPO organisation has published the annual report “Index of citizens' pleasure with municipal services in Pristina”.
Public services, public transportation, involvement in the water supply and water supply, waste collection and sewage treatment are among the municipal services with which Pristina citizens are most satisfied.
According to this report, satisfied with the work of President Shpend Ahmeti has expressed only 18.06 percent of them, against 45.46 of those who are dissatisfied, and 26.41 of citizens have neutral appreciation for the work of President Ahmeti.
INPO Executive Director Albulen Noecaj has detailed this report.
The data released from the survey represents the opinions of 18-year-old citizens and more, where 50 .12 percent are women and 49.88 percent are men. The apartment structure included 79.48 per cent of respondents from urban settlements and 20.52 percent of those rural”, she said.
The programme manager in INPO, Shpend Mustafa, has presented the Pristina citizens' pleasure report on municipal services.
“Citizens have different assessments concerning the performance of municipal organs. Pleased with the work of President Shpend Ahmeti, only 18.06 percent have been expressed against 45.46 of those who are dissatisfied. 26.41 of citizens have neutral appreciation for the work of President Ahmeti”, Mustafa has said.
Pristina Deputy Chairman Muhedin Nushi has not fully agreed with this report, specifying the transparency of the municipality.
There's some disreplacement in this report that I noticed but also a good part of these indicators you've got are exactly within the policy we've developed. What surprised me was the part of transparency and the part of how many people are notified where they were only 15 percent. Significantly, the Pristina municipality, along with the Madrid municipality, has been declared the most transparent municipalities in Europe, so the very fact of transparency or non-influencing of citizens cannot be the fault of the municipality”, Nushi has said, reports EO.
