Greta Thurberg refuses environmental price: Climate No Need for Prices

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has refused an environmental price, saying the climate movement needed people in power to start listening to science rather than prices, writes The Guardian, broadcast Periscopi.

A representative of the activist said she would not accept the 350 thousand Danish crores award, which are equivalent to about 47 thousand euros.

Later, Greta herself said through the social network, Instagram, that she would not accept the prize. The climate protection movement no longer needs prices. What we need is for politicians and powerful people to listen to science”, she wrote./Periscopi/
