Gashi: Vote means trust him to make decisions for you

The candidate for MP from the PDK ranks, Kujtim Gashi, through a Facebook status, has appealed to citizens for October 6th to vote they will be their voice.

Honored citizens of Kosovo, honoured co-partisans, you citizens of Prizren.

There are few moments left before the holy act of voting to select those who will be your voice, so I want to communicate with you when we make the decision of October 6th, for tomorrow, the future we hope to make more promising for our country, our children, our beloved Kosovo! In all my years of political and social activity, I have been guided by the principle that together we can build our journey, for the future of a better, more prosperous Kosovo, and this is done only in co-operation.

As the co-ordinator of culture, I have always made each decision after consulting with young people, after the democratic and social discussion with collaborators. As the head of the Municipal Assembly, I first built the Concensus, in accordance with the co-partys, keeping an eye on that all members of the Municipal Assembly are for and ready for co-operation. In that sense, I have tried to convey this spirit to members of the opposition, and we have built our compliance with the city's development and progress. As Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, with the Ministry's associates and staff, we first built the Concensus, on the truth that the value has no party affiliation and that it will be supported and assisted as artistic, sports and youth value.

We built close to makers of cultural, artistic, sportsmen, and young people. We co-ordinated all actions, and today in less than two years of our work, we take pride in artists and young people. They respect us, and through many activities and successes they are expressing their gratitude. Above all, I say and boast that we reached the success of culture, sports, art together. All of these achieved in my career I dedicate to cooperation with citizens -- with the co-partisans and then all of those beyond the political color who love co-operation, reconciliation and, above all, love development, love Kosovo. Beyond gratitude and respect for all collaborators from all walks of life, I am grateful to the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, who gave me space and confidence to prove my values. I am extremely grateful to the PDK leader, Mr. Kadri Wessel, who entrusted me with the post of minister, an activist and member of the PDK, who for the first time came from Prizren to these positions.

And more than for my appointment, Chairman and future Prime Minister Veselin, I am grateful that he advised me and entrusted me with my freedom of action, to support cultural, sports and youth values. I am grateful that he instructed me in the determined and uncompetitive fight of any camellike phenomenon. The key to my success in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports is the confidence of PDK leader Kadri Wessel, close co-operation with artists, athletes and young people, and joint decision making. Success is the product of cooperation. No action I have taken, and I will not do it in the future without consulting and cooperating closely with the protagonists in which I have acted and where I will act. On these grounds I have built my civil, social, ministerial identity and, promising you that with this modesty, honesty, humility in cooperation and building common faith, I will continue in the office of deputy if you as citizens appreciate and trust my work and commitment. I am honored and with the highest responsibility I ask you to trust because voting someone means trusting him to make decisions for you.

Therefore, this belief (your needs) will turn into cooperation, advancement, and value protection. The PDK gave me space, Kadri Wessel faith while you're asking for a vote. The PDK, for Kadri Veselin as prime minister of Kosovo and for me to represent as deputy, so that tomorrow we can decide together for our future, the men, women, youth, children of our country!
