In her initial reaction after early parliamentary elections held in Kosovo, Kocijanci stressed that it was very positive that, in these elections, more citizens voted than in previous ones in 2017.
Kocijanciq argued that Kosovo's new government is awaiting important tasks, citing economic and social development, rule of law and commitment to the resumption of dialogue with Belgrade, remains clear.
This is for the benefit of Kosovo citizens and the entire region. The EU will continue its work and co-operation with Kosovo and will promote reconciliation, regional co-operation and good neighbourly relations in the Western Balkans “, Kocijancic said.
The European Union sent a monitoring mission to early parliamentary elections held in Kosovo on 6 October. The mission will present a preliminary assessment on 8 October and will publish a final report in the coming months.
