EU agrees to extend Brex deadline

EU ambassadors have agreed to postpone Brex, but have not set a new deadline.

The European Commission said they will discuss the matter over the next week, reports the BBC.

The talks came after Chancellor Sayid Javov acknowledged that the government cannot meet the deadline scheduled on October 31st (Next Thursday).

MPs are expected Monday to consider the prime minister's call for early general elections, the periscopi conveys.

Boris Johnson says he wants the elections to be held on 12 December if the EU extends the deadline by 31 January.
