Turkey's president says his country “cannot forget” the harsh letter that US President Donald Trump had sent after Turkey's military intervention in northern Syria.

He says “Love and respect” mutually between the two leaders prevents him from keeping it in Turkey's agenda.

These are Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's first comments about the letter Trump sent to him on 9 October, in which he warned Erdogan not to become a hard “verse” and “received”.

Erdogan told reporters Friday in Istanbul that Turkey would make what is necessary “regarding the letter “when the time will come”. He did not explain concrete steps.

President Trump's <x0). Of course we haven't forgotten. It would not be fair for us to forget” said Erdogan.
