“In his first official visit to Kosovo and Serbia on 9-10 October, Ambassador Richard Green met in Pristina with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, as well as with political party leaders, including Albin Kurtin, Isa Mustafen, Vjosa Osmanin, Kadri Veselin and Ramush Haradinaj, while in Belgrade he met with President or Serbia Aleksandar Vucinqiqi and Prime Minister Ana Brnaq <x1, the US Embassy statement said.
According to the US Embassy's announcement, Ambassador Green began both days by first meeting with the leaders of the business community.
President Trump's “Administration strongly believes that economic development, youth job creation, and increased trade opportunities play a major role in ensuring lasting peace. The goal is to make our partners in Serbia and Kosovo a comprehensive solution to the conflict points in the region. Both sides will have to work closely and quickly looking to the future”, the Embassy media report said.
