The head of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the American Congress and the Albanian great friend Eliot Engel has sent a letter to the European Union today asking for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
“If Kosovo citizens were treated like all other citizens in the Balkans, Kosovars could now travel visa-free to the Schengen area. However, failing to guarantee visa liberalisation for Kosovo, a double standard for the people of Kosovo appears to be creating. We thus call on the European Union and its member states, as well as the EU Council, to recommend visa liberalisation for Kosovo and liberalisation to occur without delay, says the letter Engel has started at the EU address, translates Periscopi.
The letter was signed by other members of the Foreign Affairs Committee, including Republic member Michael McAul./Periscopi/
