Six elephants die trying to save each other in the falls

Authorities say the incident occurred after a small elephant slided into the falls in Thailand's National Park.

Two other elephants are also trapped in a rock, and Thai authorities are trying to escape, broadcast Koha.net.

Incidents like this have happened earlier.

A herd of eight elephants died in 1992, after falling into the falls.
