There is more danger than envelopes that have come from Serbia yet counting will continue with protection

After verifications and checks by competent organs developed during these days, it has been found today that there is already no danger of proceeding these remaining envelopes and under certain safeguards can be processed further”, the CEC says.

The vote counting process coming from Serbia has been interrupted by 13 October, due to health complaints by officials who have worked with them and doubts about the presence of dangerous matter.

Prosecutor and police have begun conducting investigations and have received necessary evidence and evidence ( material suspected as contaminated) and the investigation process is continuing.

“against complications that have emerged during this process, The CEC is committed to maintaining the integrity of the election process, the security of operating officials and also the process of clarifying this case”.

The CEC has thanked competent bodies for the co-operation provided during this time.
