Checkout, Pristina municipality official arrested

Kosovo Police, namely, Regional Crime and Corruption Investigation Unit (NJRHKEK) Pristina, after accepting information about abuses and legal violations in the municipality of Pristina, has taken concrete investigative action. Doubts were dropped on a suspect in the property tax sector.

After several weeks of investigation, NJRHKK investigators have concluded that the alleged N. D., (1980), for the purpose of profiting wealth for itself, has misused its position and from March to October 2019, has issued property tax claims without evidence that people in question are free of this 10-euro auto registration tax.

Following the company of necessary investigative actions, obtaining evidence, interviewing witnesses and interviewing the suspect in the attorney's presence, in consultation with Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's Prosecutor, allegedly sent to the 48-hour detention.
