The mayor of Mitrovica has issued this statement today after he met with LDKC's deputy chairman, Agim Veliun, with whom they drank coffee in downtown Pristina.
The co-ordination is going to happen, I'm telling you, it's over. The coalition mission is just waiting for the vote to be counted, and no problem is in that direction, and who thinks it's a problem it's wrong for”, Bahtiri told Express.
Vetevendosje and LDK launched talks Thursday on forming the coalition. But, a day later, the LDK emerged and said there would be other meetings until the results are certified. They said there could only be expert meetings.
However, Agim Bahtiri has confirmed that with Veliun they have spoken about coalition as party chiefs deal with this topic.
And first with Agim, I'm an old friend and I have a lot of fun, we're in the square and we're down with a coffee talk about different topics. We don't have the mandate to talk about coalition, the mandate is for Albin Kurti and Isa Mustafa. We're the most voting in our municipalities and we're our best friends ask us a little bit, but we talk about topics like two mayors of the”, Bahtiri said.
Agim Bahtiri is Mitrovica's chairman in the last two mandates. He had won while he was in AKR's Beach Pacolli. In the last national election, he moved to Vetevendosje.
Agim Veliu is LDK's First Deputy Chairman and heads the post-war Podujevo Community. /
