Judge Sali Murati today has been elected the new chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
Judge Murati at the helm of the Constitution will come on a November 2019, when current President Nikola Ivanovski expires his term.
The constitutional judges, the chairman, elect him with 2/3 of the votes from the general number of judges, by a secret vote. Each judge can propose a candidate for chairman. The proposal confirms the Commission of the 3 judges elected by majority from the general number of judges.
Sali Murati is born on October 11, 1966, in the village of Vrpcisht in Gostivar.
