The Albanian baby was wanted by his father, Africa Berisha, since the night of December 12, 2014, when his wife Valbona Berisha leaves Italy to join the fight of the Islamic state.
The Albanian couple, parents of 3 children, Alvin 6 and both older girls, lived in Italy since 1995. Investigations by police authorities following the location of Valbona Berisha's mobile phone, whitewashing its journey to Syria. From the Bergamo airport it has travelled to Istanbul and then arrived in Syria.
For nearly five years, Africa Berisha has been searching for his son, from whom he has been able to get only one letter that he wrote that he had missed much and wanted to return home.
Italian journalists have allowed the Albanian father's trip to Syria's Al-Hol camp a few days ago, where some 70 thousand people are held, 90% of which are women and children.
Kurdish authorities have informed that Valbona Berisha has remained a victim during the recent bombings in Syria, where she married a jihadist with whom she had three other children. But Alvin today is 11 years old and alone in the camp. He lives with other fatherless children.
<x) He forgot Italian, he communicates in Albanian. He wants to go to school and see Grandpa. Physically not good. During the bombing where his mother was victimized, he was injured on one leg that made walking difficult for him.
Italian journalists come in contact with the Albanian ambassador to Turkey, who is asked for help to get young Alvin out of the Al Hol camp.
But despite promises, no concrete action by Albanian authorities. Kurdish forces guarding the camp do not allow the departure of the Albanian baby without the presence of an Albanian official, the Ora News conveys.
Father Africa is forced to separate from his son. Alvin returns to camp. Italian journalist calls on the Albanian government of the Albanian Embassy in Turkey to help their citizen, Africa Berisha, get his six-year-old son Alvin out of this camp.
