400kg of metaphetamine is hidden in sauce bottles

Four people have been arrested after Australian police found 400kg of crystals of metaphytamine hidden inside bottles of sauce that were being imported into the country.

The four arrested are aged 30, 34, 36 and 45, the oldest of whom was arrested Thursday, reports the BBC.

Police are in contact with American authorities in an effort to find the origin of the shipment.

Commissioner's Duty Officer Stuart Smith said 768 bottles were on the way to a “laborator cladist” in Sydney where they were found. /Periscopi/
