20 People Over Election Process Stopped

National Election Co-ordinator Laura Pula announces the opinion that during the election process under way today, several different cases have been reported, but following the verification of all these information from prosecutors in the field, 16 cases have been confirmed with 20 persons related to the election process.

In the Prizren region, there are five cases of five persons, all of whom are banned for criminal work “Cenim of voting secrecy” from Article 215.

In the Pec region, we have a case of two people detained for criminal work “Using the right to vote” from Article 213.

In the Gjakova region, we have six cases against six people, five people are detained and one person on the run, for criminal acts “Paying off the voting process” from Article 214>, “Cenim of voting secrecy” by Article 215, and for the work “Distraction of voting documents<5> by Article 217.

In the Gjilan region, we have a case with a person forbidden for criminal work “Forging the exercise of the right to vote” from Article 209.

In the Mitrovica region, we have two cases of five detained persons, of whom two for criminal activity “use of official duty during the elections” by Article 211, as well as three for criminal work “Peging the voting process” by Article 214.

In the Ferizaj region, it is a case with a person banned for criminal work “Peging the voting process” from Article 214.
