In less than 24 hours, more than 100,000 Britons have signed a bid to hold the second referendum on the Brex issue. This request came after a million people attended the protest before the British assembly.
The signing of this request, organised by the group “People's Voter” and the newspaper “The Independent”, aims to ask the leaders of Britain and the European Union to do everything they can to enable the British people to vote once again for the Brex agreement.
Before the completion of Brexi's deadline on October 31st, this letter will be sent to the government and to two chambers of the British Assembly, the European Parliament, and to the building where European Council meetings are held.
Supporting this petition came after hundreds of thousands of people marched on the streets of London on Saturday to oppose Prime Minister Johnson's plan to remove the country from the EU on October 31st. Protest organisers said a million people attended the gathering.
One of the main figures of the opposition Labusist Party, Sir Keir Starmer, has offered support for this request, saying: “Today we're marching together to say that we trust the people, not Boris Johnson, to solve the Brex crisis and we're sending this message to the powerful”, writes “Independent”
