Zaev again with promises of economic growth

Now we need a lot of work in the country, we start a new economic and reform campaign, for an economy of prosperity and growth. So has Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who one day after voting on constitutional changes stemming from the agreement with Greece, announced the implementation of specific serious measures [...]
He called on ministers, directors, mayors and all administrators to start working more efficiently.
We are entering today, in an economic and reform initiative that is high on our agenda for 2019. To convince all investors who have so far hesitated that they now have a safe place for a partner, a host country for business and new employment for our citizens “- said Zoran Zaev.
The prime minister announced this year's minimum wage increase, citizen VAT remuneration, the start of building the Skopje-Blace Clinical Centre and Highway. He said he would also start implementing a decade-long power project for the construction of Cebren and Galish hydropower plants, as well as other energy projects. If all of this is accomplished, he expects the growth of the economy to be even bigger than planned.
“Projects and priority projects themselves have been exceeded. Railways, gas pipelines, roads and highways in Macedonia will be built with serious intensity. All of this gives me the right to believe that it is possible, that economic growth is 4 for 2019 and even more “- Zaev stressed.
This economic campaign will produce a real result, Zaev said, only if it is worked fairly and responsibly and without corruption. To achieve that goal, he asked parliament to adopt new anti-corruption laws. The prime minister announced a new major foreign investment from Germany, which, according to him, his plans for Macedonia will announce by the end of the month. The economic growth warned of the government in 2018 was not realized.
