Wessel talks about dialogue, chases away the LDK.

Kosovo has no claim for more territory, but will neither yield territory. That's what the first legislature of Kadri Wessel has pledged. Says country needs unity for dialogue with Serbia, that president has constitutional role

The criticism has addressed the European Union for its non-liberalisation of visas for Kosovars, however, says the EU remains Kosovo's partner on its Western road.

Political responsibility has also demanded from the two opposition LDK and Vetevendosje, saying they should not refuse co-operation when it comes to national interest.

The first of the Parliament in a year-long interview for Kosova Prees has reiterated the call for unity, while inviting Serbia to recognise Kosovo's citizenship.

Kosovo must join. It means leaving the correction part and these... We don't pretend to take any part in the territory, and we won't give him any part of the territory. But, that we will be interested in our Albanians in the Presevo Valley, and that we are willing to take Presevo, Bujanoc's Medvedja if Serbia abuses and thinks it is better to be with Kosovo, that is. He voiced confidence that the recognition of the state of Kosovo on the part of Serbia is inevitable.

It is inevitable to recognise the Republic of Serbia. Many ask what Serbia wins when we give it nothing. But it's a joke we shouldn't take. What Kosovo wins, what my people are gaining, that is why we go into dialogue with Serbia”, he has said.

For the president's role in the dialogue with Serbia, Wessel alluding to it, says the latter will always have its constitutional role.

The president is the highest institution in this country, has the greatest legislation in the institutions we've brought. The presidential institution will play its role, is the state team compensation. The chairman of the Parliament will play his role, in this case I, will play Kosovo's prime minister, but in the negotiating team, we have enabled all opposition parties. They have chosen a way of self-restraint. It is their responsibility, but it is not a righteous way. I still invite them to come and get together. We don't have any more of yours, nor do we have any backs. We have moved forward in protecting the country and nation's interest”, says Wessel.

The legislature's leader recalls the time when Kosovo had started negotiations with Serbia in Vienna, and the PDK, even though the opposition, says it participated in the process because it was the country's interest.

That fact, Wessel urged him to be even more critical of the LDK and Vetevendosje, as in his opinion, the self-exploitation of these two from this process enables Serbia to clear of past mistakes.

They must respond to constitutional obligations, their obligations to our citizens. Kosovo does not belong to position or opposition. No chairs of power, no chairs out of power. Kosovo belongs first to the citizens of this country, and must stand up to this country in front of Serbia. We have a clear goal, Kosovo is an independent and sovereign state, Serbia must recognise it. These games that can be developed for the sake of power games, which are currently running the LDK and VV, is the biggest mistake of using something that would have to bring us together and unify us even more, the report with Serbia, which means that we have had a tradition in the past”, says Wessel.

As for this year's most controversial decision, the one for the 100 per cent tax on Serbia's products, the chairman of Serbia The PDK says this decision should stay further until Serbia respects the independent state of Kosovo.

And for this year's failures, no membership in INTERPOL, and no visa liberalisation for Kosovo, Wessel says that for both of these, Kosovo has done its jobs.

For the first, he says it was Serbia with its consistent agenda against Kosovo, which lobbied strongly against Kosovo.

As for visa liberalisation, though several times he promised it would happen this year, he indicated that the EU's responsibility remains, as it made political decision.

This is a responsibility, I have said publicly, a responsibility which the EU itself will pay for the standards they set. They once said that the issue of visa liberalisation is not political decision-making, it is technical decision-making. Now we're getting political. Not that we didn't know that, but we did our job and we did good. I also call on citizens, youth, not to be disappointed by this passage. But the responsibility for visa liberalisation holds the EU”, Veselin declares.

It has been discussed that the PSD can join the Government, and a coalition with them does not rule out the head of PDK.

We're not an exclusive party. We promote values of co-operation, but the vision, our attitude in the free market economy, in entrepreneurship, in private property, is very clear. We favour tax relief for entrepreneurs, which is the opposite with left parties, which included the LDK, which itself calls itself right”, he has said.

All in the end, Wessel has also talked about the work of the Kosovo Assembly, where he has drawn a comparison this year to the period of governance with the LDK.

This year alone, we've done more than three years of co-governance with LDK, tax relief for producers. We've removed the first subject tax on manufacturing machines. We're facilitating big, medium, small businesses in order to have the producer. For the very fact that this is Kosovo's future”, he said.
