The weirdest thing doctors pulled out of Kosovars' throats

In 2018, about 50 people sought help at the ORL Clinic because they had swallowed things up by the most unusual.

Help was also received by an elderly man who, cleaning a hole in his throat with a brush brush, had gone to his lungs.

This case is explained by the director of the Otorinolaring Clinic, Heidi Thaci.

There's a patient who's been treated to us because of laryng cancer where the larynx has been completely removed, so gabzheri, and he's stuck with a permanent hole, in fact he now lives without a larynx but also without disease. Paints, iron coins, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and dental prosthetics also removed the patient's breathing routes.

“Foreign groups who can aspire to be counted as peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, then pieces of nut, plastic toys, while we have even had occasions for children to aspire to the wall to put some tracts or other paper that have a piece of metal while the rest have plastic. We've also rarely had needles that were present in foreign bodies. In addition to metal coins, there have been cases of prosthetics in older ages - tooth prosthesis that have fallen into mouthholes and remained on the food routes”, he said.

The most under attack with foreign troops on respiratory roads are mostly children from six months to five years, as well as older ones.

“This year about 50 cases have asked for good luck to be given good information that all the cases that have been asked to deal with this kind of pathology have received successful treatment, so they have not been associated with complications because the possibility of complications is that even the worst one, so death can accompany even in these cases, so when foreign troops are in large dimensions and don't leave with a time of”, the director of ORL has declared.

Help has also been requested when parents have suspected that something is left in their children's throats. One such case is that of the daughter two and a half years for which her parents had suspected that she had been left behind.

Kaltrine Zeqiray, the girl's mother, has shown what symptoms caused doubts about this.

The device doctors conduct these interventions is in the 1980s, but director Thaci says they are functional and the team does the job successfully.

He added that they expect a more sophisticated device to handle similar cases in 2019.
