A 45-year-old has been stabbed near the centre where protests were being held, while dozens of others have been injured after stepping foot on each other trying to get out of the tuma after police tried to deliver tear gas.
Greek media report that at least 10 police officers and several protest citizens have been injured.
Soon police in a statement have indicated that there has been an antigovernmental group that has caused unrest and ended up in acts of violence and injured police effectives.
Police said preventive, envisioned measures were taken against the attack.
Police have used tear gas and smoke to disperse protesters who have gathered in front of parliament in Athens today, rejecting Prespa's agreement with Macedonia on name issue
