Venezuela on the brink of disaster, Maduro refuses to leave post

Venezuela's president, Nicolas Maduro, has said he will not adhere to the ultimatum issued by the five European countries, which called for new elections.

These five countries gave Maduros eight days to hold independent elections, or they will recognise opposition leader Juan Guaido, as Venezuela's president, writes Euronews, broadcast Klan Kosova.

“Europe has an unmovable, unstable, inadequate attitude and should attract its ultimatum”, was Maduro's response.

If they want to leave Venezuela, let them go now. Venezuela will continue its path, fortunately it does not depend on Europe”. /Periscopi
