The study” Perspective of rural and urban epidemics” was conducted by Hamilton University in Ontario, and results were released and published in” Lancet”
The results of analysis by over 135 thousand individuals from 18 low, middle, and high - income countries in the epidemiological study show that high carbs lead to a higher risk of cardiovascular mortality, while taking fat in turn is surprisingly linked to lower risks.
Individuals at high fat rates have shown a 23% reduction in the overall risk of mortality, but also an 18% reduction in risk of stroke and a 30% reduction in risk of noncardiovascular mortality.
