Gjerman Jashari, chairman of the United Trade Union for Education, Science and Culture, said no agreement has been reached to meet their full demand.
“Greva will continue. We are optimistic that the parliamentary commission for administration by working and seeing the situation will act properly, either they will realise our application, or withdraw the law, so that it can then be worked in it with cold heads”, Jashar told Radio Free Europe.
Educators continue to be persistent in realising their demand related to raising the wage cofficiency by 30 per cent.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said after a meeting with the SBASK, that the government's bid is 20m euros more for the education sector, and, according to him, “would be a fraud if strikers think they will have another” offer.
More than 350,000 students from pre-university education institutions and about 110 thousand students in Kosovo are entering the third week of lack of teaching process as a result of a teacher strike.
