A number of former commanders and former Kosovo Liberation Army members (UÇK) from next week will face questions at The Hague on a body of international prosecutors who suspect they are involved in the crimes mentioned in Senator Dick Marty's report.
This body has long been conducting investigations of serious cross-border and international crimes, including war crimes and crimes against humanity, as defined in international customary law and as defined in the law on which the Special Court was formed. Although Senator Marty's report was released in 2011, there is still no charge filed with claims dropped there. But prosecutors have already started interviewing suspects.
