The SBASK through a media communique has commemorated educational directors and institutions that the eventual pressures on strikers are sanctioned by the Law on International Strikes and Conventions, so such cases will be sent to courts and such persons will be punished by law.
According to the law, it is envisioned that with fines of five hundred to five thousand euros will be punished for wrongdoing, employer or legal person, or the responsible person of the legal person, if it prevents employees from participating in the strike, or uses the measure of violence to end the strike.
Also, the SBASK recalls that by law employers do not have the right to replace current workers with new workers.
By contrast, the SBASK has indicated that even during today, strikes in educational institutions have continued with the requirement for raising the 30 percent cofficient for the entire education sector from nests, pre-university education, and universities.
As you know, MANT has called for a break-up of strike and resolving the problem through dialogue, which has not been accepted by SBASK leaders, warning of continuing the strike until the requirements are met. /Periscopi
