SASK does not waver: The prime minister's offer, not close to our demands

The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, along with several members of the Grevist Council, has talked today with strikers at Our Joy and Low School in the town of Mitrovica. We're not asking for more than anyone else. We're trying to protect our dignity. On this strike we have [...]
We're not asking for more than anyone else. We're trying to protect our dignity. On this strike we joined together, and so will we. Either we win or we lose all together, protecting the entire educational system”, Yasharaj said in addition to the strikers.
According to him, last night's salary hike bid by Kosovo's prime minister is not even close to SBASK's demands. He said this offer is flawed because the entire education sector, such as nests, technical workers, and a large part of universities, is not involved.
Jasharaj, warning possible pressure on strikers, called for unity and determination in their demands, while promising indictments against those exercising pressure.
We're not going to share. Please be persistent because the government has tried to trick us with some numbers at first, and seeing our determination at the center, will try to pressure the municipalities. Don't believe your disinformations, because there were words that some municipalities like Yunik and others started learning, but it's not true. .. In whatever school there is pressure that you have to work without crying and likewise, we will sue”, Jasharaj stressed.
Even Isa Ismajli, chairman of the Municipal Union in Mitrovica, expressed disappointment with the prime minister's offer to raise salaries.
“Even I am not satisfied with Prime Minister Haradinaj's proposal because they are not all involved. Not included are the initials, technical workers, the administration at the university, so the offer has many defects”, Ismajli said.
Naile Uka, a tutor at our Cohesion Centre, simultaneously a member of the SBASK Steering Council, has called the prime minister's offer very symbolic. She said she regrets that the school break, but that the teachers are really degraded and that the strike will continue until a decision unlike the SBASK leadership.
