RTK's “Sindition of the Workers invites all RTK workers to protest with the date of 28.01.2019 at 1: 00 p.m. to protest in front of the Kosovo assembly with the only requirement for the removal of wage law”, the communique reported.
According to them, the commission for public administration, local governance and media has included RTK in the Law on Salaries compared journalists to civil servants.
Dear colleagues as you know this is illegal because RTK has its own law and its status. RTK is an independent company with special status. SPARTK invites you to support us en masse in this protest so we don't leave RTK convert from public media to state. At the same time, we extend an invitation to colleagues from other media to follow our” protest with their teams, said the announcement.
Meanwhile, dentists also went on strike during today, while the SBASK had warned protests days ago if their demands were not met through strike. /Periscopi/
