The U.S. Embassy has once again clarified this state's stance on the tax on Serbian products.
Today, through a letter they have once again warned Kosovo institutions that if there is no suspension of the tax, there may be consequences, the news.net writes.

This letter came after Prime Minister Haradinaj's statements that Kosovo would stand behind the tax decision, and that without an agreement providing mutual recognition, there is no turning back on that decision.

This letter is being seen as the last US-made warning to Kosovo.

Politologist Ramush Tahiri, of the news.net says that after the third remark in the United States, all sanctions can follow.

Last “No agreement reached. Now this is a third remark, a concrete text that leaves no doubt. Fourth remarks do not exist, the fourth warnings are only sanctions and consequences. Even in this letter, it was clearly said that no one can behave against America's interests, that is, no one can speak for the United States”, he estimates.

Tahiri says the government should be declared concretely in terms of US tax requirements, as they, according to him, are responsible for its idea and deployment.

The government could stubbornly insist on preserving the tax and not suspend it. This suspension does not mean tax removal because it is not permanent. It can be restored in three or six months”, Tahiri says away.

Referring to it as derogatory, Tahiri adds that parliament in this situation should call an emergency meeting, and take responsibility in the chaos created.

I had proposed that parliament call an emergency meeting. It can be done in 24 hours, and see if parliament is bearing its responsibility. The US letter should be taken seriously and Kosovo should support and suspend tax”, he says.

And against the removal of the tax has been declared the chairman of the Assembly, Kadri Wessel.

He has even warned in an interview last night that besides the tax, Kosovo will go to full reciprocity against Serbia.

Intensification of pressure on Pristina for tax removal has been done by the European Union.

The latter have now demanded the immediate removal of this tax and the setback.

And from the Serbian side now and how long they have conditioned the continuation of dialogue with the return of this government decision.

The same has caused them millions of euros in losses.
